Not too bad at all,
but it needs to be longer.
I like the style, sticks have always been one of my favorites.
Too bad there are a lot of crappy stick movies out there.
The animation was nice and fluid,
and the only real problem i had was it being too short.

And since this is as you said a warm-up: go ahead and make the real thing then !

I'm not good at giving titles to my reviews...
But anyhow,I figure you really did put osme effort in making this so I won't just give you a 2 sentenced review.

First of all: the game lacks graphic quality. Truth be said: it has a nice arcade feel to it. But that doesn't really make up for the crappy look of everything.

Next, the gameplay wasn't all that great. Just your basic top down shooter. But with some small errors. If you are planning on improving your work: try making the firing rate independent from the screen time your actual shot gets. Meaning: if you shoot and miss everything, you have to wait untill the shot goes out of the frame before you can shoot again. In the same line: when you lett the enmy's come really close and keep the 'space'-key down, you create some kind of impenatrable shield which auto-kills all your aproaching enemy's. Thus making the game too easy.

The music is also repreatative... but this too fits the arcade feel. So i don't think you should alter this.

The biggest problem is the lack of imagination in the bonusses...
Just a trubo isn't really all that great. Besides, the turbo makes your ship go too fast, so you lose all acuracy....

If you can fix all or most of these things, you will have a game that is nice too play. Now we just have to wait and see if you are up to the challenge

Anyhow, i really liked it.
It's not verry comon to see anyone use anything but the default flash size.
This would make a really nice banner on some site, i'm sure, the thing is, it's just a bit to short to be an actual movie.
I really liked it though, and i hope it survives the portal,
But i don't think it'll make front page anytime soon, so don't get your hopes up to much..

Overall, great job ^^

To be honnest,
i'm sure you've put a lot of work into this, but there was just to many things I didn't really like.
Starting with the music: I'm not really into rap, but you can't help that, can you now?
So i won't waste anyones time whining about the music.
Not will i tell that i was shocked by the mesage this game had.
I really don't care about those,
so why didn't I like it then?

For starters, you didn't really know what to do...
And you can leave an area without having to kill everyone (the red hand stays there for ever).
Even so, there was no challenge, nobody tried to shoot back or even throw a book in the general direction of my head.
Quite unrealistic.
And finaly: it had no story.

So in conclusion: nicely made game, decent graphics, but the story and gameplay were too poor to cut it.
I hope you will take this critisism the right way and make an even better flash out of this one...
It has really great potential, don't let that go to waste

I norice a huge potential in this game, really.
All you need to do is get some story in it and it will be frontpage material.
I really like the animations, blood. It is quite basic indeed, but that is what i like about it.
as i said, only thing to do now, is build a story around this game (characters, levels, etc.)
